Filling Out Payor Agreements
Now that you have your account on Relay Health, it is time to fill out any Payor Agreements that are required. First, let's learn a little about agreements.
Commercial Payors
Commercial payors often do not require approval to submit electronic claims. For all Commercial payors who do not require an agreement, you may begin submitting electronic claims via Relay Health just 24 hours after receiving your Submitter ID
Government Payors
Most Government payors require you to submit an agreement and have it approved prior to sending electronic claims to them. To find out which payors require an agreement, visit the Payor Agreement Library. For any Payors that do not require an agreement, you may begin submitting electronic claims via Relay Health just 24 hours after receiving your Submitter ID
All Payor Agreements will be submitted to Relay Health for processing. You May Not begin submitting claims for these payors until you have been notified that your agreements have been approved by Relay Health.
