Filling Out Payor Agreements
Now that you have your account on Relay Health, it is time to fill out any Payor Agreements that are required. First, let's learn a little about agreements.
Commercial Payors
Commercial payors often do not require approval to submit electronic claims. For all Commercial payors who do not require an agreement, you may begin submitting electronic claims via Relay Health just 24 hours after receiving your Submitter ID
Government Payors
Most Government payors require you to submit an agreement and have it approved prior to sending electronic claims to them. To find out which payors require an agreement, visit the Payor Agreement Library. For any Payors that do not require an agreement, you may begin submitting electronic claims via Relay Health just 24 hours after receiving your Submitter ID
All Payor Agreements will be submitted to Relay Health for processing. You May Not begin submitting claims for these payors until you have been notified that your agreements have been approved by Relay Health.
Payor Agreement Library
- Go to www.collaborationcompass.com
- Log in using the user id and password you created
- Go to the Payor menu, select Payor Agreements and click Payor Agreement Library
- Search for an agreement
- Fill in either the CPID (Payor ID Number) or other information to search by
- To view the agreement, click View
- Complete the Agreement
- Check Highlight Fields and Highlight Required Fields
- Required Fields will be listed in RED
- The Agreement is in PDF format and may be completed online
- When you have finished filling out the agreement, click Submit
- Does the form require a signature?
- If it does not, you may submit the form via CollaborationCompass
- If the form does require a signature, you must complete the form, print it out, sign in blue ink, and mail it to Relay Health
- Repeat this process for any other agreements that need to be submitted
- Wait for your agreements to be processed and approved before submitting claims
